Safety First

We'll send a skilled instructor to your location to conduct behind-the-wheel lessons in our vehicle modified for safe instructor intervention.

Over the course of three separate sessions, you'll progressively learn the safe and correct way to operate a vehicle on public streets and freeways while under the watch of an instructor ready to intervene if needed.

  • Address any areas where the student shows need for improvement
Each lesson is 2 hours. The DMV requires a total of 6 hours of behind-the-wheel driving instruction.
After 3 lessons you'll be ready to get your drivers license from the DMV

  • How long is each behind-the-wheel lesson?

    Each lesson lasts 2 hours. After three lessons you'll have gained the number of hours of behind-the-wheel instruction required by the DMV to take your drivers license test.

  • What days of the week are appointments available?

    We operate 7 days a week.

  • Is there a waiting list?

    No, we usually have appointments available within a few days.

  • When should I make my first appointment?

    As soon as possible. Your learners permit is not valid until you complete your first behind-the-wheel lesson.

  • Can you pick me up and drop me off?

    Yes, we can pick you up from home or from school or anywhere else within reason.

  • How and when do I pay?

    You can give cash or a check to your driving instructor at the beginning of each lesson.

Questions about DMV regulations
  • Can I practice with my parent or guardian after my first lesson?

    Yes, besides the 6 hours of professional behind-the-wheel driving instruction, the DMV requires you to drive an additional 50 hours with a qualified adult before you take the driver license test.

  • How old do I have to be to get my learners permit?

    You must be at least 15½ years of age.

  • When's the soonest I can take the driver license test?

    The DMV requires you to have a learners permit for 6 months before taking the driving test.
